About me
I began my degree at UBC in 2022 where I initially studied Chemical and Biological Engineering. Working as the Instrumentation Lead for Biological Internet of Things, I made the switch to study Computer Engineering.
I went on to serve as Captain for UBC BIoT, creating open-source IoT devices to automate and collect data for small-scale breweries while researching innovative biological projects such as glow-in-the-dark beer, or using ultrasonication to speed up fermentation. My work involved consulting the team on project execution, securing funding through grant applications, and communicating with stakeholders and sponsors.
I’m currently the President of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society, where I represent the student body, organize events and manage a budget for undergraduate students in the ECE department at UBC.
On the professional side, I recently completed a backend internship at SteepDeep in Vancouver, where I worked on GraphQL APIs and Google Cloud Platform. I’m now working as an AI & Automation Programmer for Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival, building workflow automations with n8n, Docker, and AWS to streamline their booking and vendor operations.
I’m expected to graduate in 2028 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering.
